Mack Days Anglers — Your Voice Matters
The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission is considering changing the lake trout limit north of the Reservation boundary on Flathead Lake. The Region 1 Commissioner has proposed reducing the daily limit of Lake Trout from the current 100 daily and in possession, to 20 a day and 40 in possession, and expanding the slot limit to 26 to 36 inches.
If these changes are adopted, it would be difficult to administer Mack Days and its benefits would be lost. As an angler you have the opportunity to influence the Commission’s decision. If you wish to maintain Mack Days in its current form across Flathead Lake you may comment online, or by mail.

Comments are due by October 9th. You may also participate in the October 14 Commission meeting by Zoom or from an FWP Regional Office. Zoom registration closes at noon October 13.
