Rules of Disqualification

 

It is the intention of this event to promote good sportsmanship and fair play.  Interpretation of the rules shall be exclusively left to the event officials/organizers. Unsportsmanlike conduct and cheating will result in disqualification. All decisions are final.

 

bulletFishing event committee/officials reserve the right to disqualify anyone entered in the event who is being rude or disrespectful to any event staff or official.
 
bulletParticipants are required to have all permits and licenses required for the event and will be disqualified if these are not in the anglers possession or for refusing to show permits on demand to CSKT/ or Montana Fish & Game officials.
 
bulletUnsportsmanlike conduct and cheating will result in disqualification.
 
bulletIncludes-pooling of fish by anglers entered/or having an angler on board a boat who is not entering their own catch.  All anglers on board a boat are required to enter the event.  Anglers may phone in their entry information at 406-883-2888 ex. 7294 during the work week or 406-270-3386 during the week-end.  Anglers may also enter at Zimmer's Tackle in Pablo.
 
bulletIncludes harvesting of fish on days other than Friday-Sunday of the event (pre-fishing) and submitting those fish for entry.  Fish entered in the event are to be harvested on the day of entry.
 
bulletIncludes violation of any regulation within the state and tribal fishing regulation booklets.

 

Only event officials or anglers have the right to protest the actions of another angler. Protests by anglers must be filed in writing no later than 12 hours after the close of that fishing day. The event committee/officials will convene to investigate and make a decision.  The decision will be a majority vote of the committee members/officials in attendance (3 minimum) and will be final. Contestants waive any right or opportunity to appeal the decision of the committee/officials to a higher authority, including any court of jurisdiction in this or any other state. Any person found violating the rules may be immediately disqualified and the reasons for disqualification announced at the event headquarters. Event officials reserve the right to change or modify these rules at any time up to the beginning of the event.
