Adult Anglers ~ No entry fees will be charged for 2008 Spring Mack Days
Large Mack Contest ~ Free-everyone is automatically entered
Youth (17 and under) ~ FREE entry-phone or e-mail us 406-883-2888 Ex.7294 or
webmaster.
Youth anglers will be eligible to win up to $600 in cash prizes.
Entry numbers will be assigned when you enter or bring in your fish for tickets
at Blue Bay or one of the check-in sites.
If you provide us an e-mail address, your number will be sent to you.

2008 SPRING MACK DAYS
OVER

All entrants agree to the following-By entering/signing/sending/faxing/e-mailing entry, all participants agree to the following release of liability to forever discharge the event, CSKTribes, Mt. FW& Parks, Event Committee, & Officials of every claim, demand, action, or right of action, of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, arising from or by any bodily injury or personal injuries, known or unknown, death or property damage resulting or to result from any accident which may occur as a result of participation in the event, whether by negligence or otherwise by ourselves, our heirs, executors, or assignees. This release contains the entire agreement between the parties hereto, and the terms of this release are contractual and not a mere recital. I also understand that photographs may be taken of me and used for promotional purposes without royalties.   

 

Up to $35,000  in (1,000) Tagged Fish-$10-$5,000 for each tagged lake trout

 $500 FOR THE LARGEST-(heaviest) LIVE LAKE TROUT OVER 36" & over 24#'s
ENTERED IN THIS CATEGORY.

New-Spring Mack Days will accept lake trout up to 30". Regulations limit anglers
to 50 lake trout per day.  Please make sure you have an accurate count.

Subject to some adjustments before the beginning of the event:
 $10,000-$25,000 in bonuses:
(Each day counts-fish up to 21 days.) 0-19 lake trout=$0, 20-30=$20, 31-60=$40, 61-100=$80, 101-150=$130, 151-200=$175, 201-250=$200, 251-300=$275, 301-350=$325, 351-400=$375, 401-450=$425, 451-500=$475,  500-550=$500, & on up


Early Angler Registration-$100-qualify by entering by March 12th-one prize.

"
Captain's Prize"-$250-enter by giving us the name or number of your boat or the boat you were boarded on when you enter your catch-three prizes.

Smallest lake trout-$250.00-two prizes.

Largest Lake Trout over 36"-$500.00-one prize-has to be the heaviest lake trout over 24#'s & 36 inches.

Door Prizes-$100-need to be present to win.
plus other merchandise prizes.

Ladies Only-$150 gift certificate-qualify by turning in 20 lake trout



New-Tagged Fish Category-Rules: 

Background: 1,000 lake trout will be tagged before the event.  They will be tagged and the adipose fin will be clipped.
They will be released at different locations in Flathead Lake by CSKT & FWP fisheries staff.  

Tagged fish will be released throughout the lake.

PIT tags will be implanted beneath the skin in 1,000 lake trout.  The tags are not visible. 
All adipose fin clipped lake trout will be scanned with an electronic reader by staff when fish
are turned in at the check-in stations.
 It will be helpful if you mark any fish you
think may be tagged by wrapping a rubber band or electrical tie around the
tail.

 A winning fish must meet these requirements for a  prize:

1) It must have a PIT tag

2)The angler must be18 years of age and older and be entered in the event to win a $5,000 tagged fish. Youth anglers may win up to $600 in prizes.
 

3)The fish must be caught during one of the 21 days of the 2008 Spring Mack Days contest.

Youth Awards (age 17 and under)-1st $200  & 2nd-$100.00 Youth anglers can receive up to $600 in cash prizes.
 

Mack Days reserves the right to: photograph event entries, reproduce any photos for
publicity purposes, and retain all photo rights.


Fish fry for participants at Salish Point in Polson on April 27th @ 4:00.
Salish Point is behind Kwataqnuk Resort in Polson.

Entries will close at 4:00.


Awards @  5:00 following the fish fry.
